Couesnon is a luthier located in Mirecourt, France since 1827. The mirecourt lutherie is known to be of good quality and meticulous. The Couesnon guitars were made in the 50's.
This guitar model 3049 used for jazz manouche was manufactured in 1954.

There is a iron marking on the head of this guitar: "Couesnon, luthier à Mirecourt"
This small-format guitar is made of wood of the islands which offers a good sound.
The guitar has a double thread, extra copper mechanics and white edges. The guitar has a threaded edges and rosette, a tailpiece.
The back and the table are in mahogany, the sides an the handle in maple.
